Blake getting the mail. We didn't get our mail yesterday. So much for the USPS motto of..."through rain, through snow, through sleet or hail....." Didn't work too well for them yesterday.

The 18th would have been my Dad's 63rd birthday, so I only felt it was right to give him the picture for the day. (No one ever said it had to be a brand new picture.) He was the best Dad ever. You know they say it gets easier after a loved one dies, but I disagree. You continually miss them every day, and if you have kids, I think it's even harder because you think of all the things your loved one could be doing with your kids, and it just causes extreme sadness. I miss you, Daddy!
This sweet couple are the Floyd's. Mrs. Floyd makes the best steaks in the entire world. Her other food is just as good, but her steaks are my favorite. And she knows it. She actually makes Eric and I two steaks each (hee-hee!), not to mention the rest of the feast she makes us. I can't even begin to tell you how excited I get when I find out we've been invited over there. I mean seriously, what could be better.....excellent food, excellent company, and no kids? Who-heee!!!
Look who got into the markers while all of her brothers were coloring right next to her. I guess this is what I deserve when I leave the room for a minute. Oh, and the reason the picture was taken in the bathroom was not because I was about to wash her face off, it's because it was the only place where she would let me take her picture. She was wallowing on the floor moments before. I figured if she could see how silly she looked, then she might let me take a picture.

Check out what I found in Luke's pocket...all in his words
This is my favorite picture so far of the year. Makenna was being very needy in nursery on Sunday morning. Apparently she is only needy when I'm in there. I'm sure you all know how that goes. Upon receiving no attention from her mother, she ran to the arms of another.....Liam. (He's two days younger than her.) Isn't this the cutest thing ever.
