Day 59 - Feb 28

Disturbing, huh?
PS. He only left it there to annoy me. He shaved it off after I discovered it. What's funny is that he had it on all day, but he also had a face mask on too. (He was making tubes for his firework business.) Literally every time I saw him on Saturday he had the mask on. Little did I know underneath that thing was a pesky caterpillar.

Day 58 - Feb 27

Started scrappin' again after a very long hiatus. Here's one of the pages I did today.

Day 57 - Feb 26

Jake finished his Kindergarten math book this week. Who-hoo!!! I'm trying to think what all he learned in it....umm...addition and subtraction; counting by 2's, 5's, and 10's; telling time; using a ruler; and ton of other stuff. He loves math!!

Day 56 - Feb 25

Workin' hard!

Day 55 - Feb 24

This proves that we eat out.....WAY TOO MUCH! Eric found out that one of his favorite restaurants was having all you can eat Ribs, and well....we all went. The nice thing about going out is....I don't have to clean up!

Day 54 - Feb 23

This picture just goes to show that nothing breakable can last in our house without getting broken. Poor Jakeb had his first trophy for less than two days when a big brother accidentally broke it. ARGH!

Day 53 - Feb 22

Something that has been part of my life for the past 8 years....crying children and diapers.

Day 52 - Feb 21

We had our worker's banquet tonight. It had the theme of Tom Sawyer/Huck Finn. Like our costumes?

Day 51 - Feb 20

Our anniversary was yesterday, but we celebrated today at Jag's at their $5 buffet! Yum!

Day 50 - Feb 19

My mom's b-day!!!

Day 48 - Feb 17

The trick Daddy played on Blake. Click here to read the full story.

Day 47 - Feb 16

Laundry is never caught up in this house. Hey, at least it's clean!

Day 46 - Feb 15

From the moment she wakes up, she wants all of these dolls. You should see her try to pick them all up at the same time while she's in her crib.

Day 45 - Valentine's Day

I should be putting a loving picture up here, but this is what we're getting today....the kids sitting at their THIRD basketball game. Poor guys. This is how our Saturdays have been for the past month or so. Just wait until spring when we have FOUR kids playing sports. That should be interesting.

Day 44

Kaleb's Valentines from Co-op yesterday. Cute, huh?

Day 43

I've been on a photo developing frenzy the past couple of weeks. I just got photos developed from when Makenna was first born, so that means I'm about 1 1/2 years behind, and I'm sure that there are other pictures from before then that I haven't gotten developed. So, Costco and Arts Cow have been my best friends lately. I used Arts Cow for the first time, and was pretty pleased with their work. Their pictures are 6 cents a print, plus when you sign up you get 1200 prints for free, 100 4x6 and 100 5x7 each month. All you do is pay for shipping. Today, Thursday, we made a trip to Costco to get more prints which only adds to more madness in my room downstairs. I like Costco because I get the prints ASAP. Now to organize them all.
(I mean, look at the pictures...see Makenna now and then in the hospital?)

Day 42

We went on a field trip on this day, Boonshaft Discovery Museum. Kids loved it!

Day 41- Feb 10

The contraption a.k.a. Eric's invention for his firework business. You guys might remember that Eric has a Firework tube business called Pyroboom. He's been working on this for awhile, and while most of you are wondering what it is....we are greeted with it everytime we go in and out of the house through the garage, so I thought it deserved it's own picture. It actually saves Eric a ton of time and work using it. It hits the plugs in for him so he doesn't have to hammer them in himself. He's also made another invention that actually staples the plugs in place also....I don't have a picture of that yet...maybe another day.

Day 40

Blake practicing his piano with his bed head hair

Day 39

We finally got them. We finally got new dressers for the kids. They're dressers were falling apart beyond belief. I was going to take a picture of the old ones, but I was too embarrassed. I'm talking........belonging in a trash yard which is where they are now.....Thanks to Rumpke!
Of course, those of you who know IKEA know that you have to put all their furniture together yourself. Not bad when you have one of them, but FIVE!!!! AHHHHHHHHH!!!! Not to mention the fact that you have to take part of one dresser back because the drawers were all scratched up. Regardless, I still love IKEA!

Day 38

The wall - part two
It's done. It only took 18 months, but it's done.
No more hiding the drywall behind a curtain.
No more leaving the drywall exposed when the kids pull the curtain down.
No more explaining why we have a curtain over the wall where there is no window.
No more bugging my husband to finish it. It's done. Who-hoo!!!
Now...to figure out what to do with it, and decorate it.

Day 37

A place that we visit quite frequently.
A place that has such cute stuff
A place the kids enjoy when we go.
A place that gives us free food.
A place that enjoys when we come.
A place that we spend way too much money.

Day 36

Most of you have seen my other blog, so you know I took Makenna's 18 month pictures a month late, but this one here is one of my favorites just because she looks so grumpy, and believe me, she wasn't grumpy at all, so I'm not sure what's up with her scowl!

Wednesday, February 4, 2009

Day 35

We made snow cream today. The kids loved it. It was a new experience for all of us. (Check my other blog for the recipe.)

Tuesday, February 3, 2009

Day 34

Blake enjoying his fabric softener...the simple things in life.

Day 33 February 2

I was pretty worried that I wasn't gonna get a picture today, but Eric surprised me when he did something tonight after the boys went to bed. He actually started painting the wall that he pulled the window out of AUGUST of 2007!!!! It's been covered for quite some time with a curtain, so it wasn't noticeable, but then I uncovered it, so that he would FINISH it! And well, it's still not finished, but....well, just one more step. he actually found our living room paint color downstairs, so maybe...just maybe...he'll finish the rest of it tonight. Who-hoo!!!
